A cozy dip that brings together the best of both worlds, creamy tangy gorgonzola balanced with the sweetness of roasted pears. Serve it warm or chilled, this Sweet Pear and Gorgonzola Dip is a perfect addition to your table.

Sweet Pear and Gorgonzola Dip Ingredients
- Pears – I like to use ripe pears as they are sweeter. The best pears to use are Anjou, Bartlett, Bosc, Concorde or Conference.
- Gorgonzola Cheese – the better quality it is, the better the dip tastes! It’s the main flavour of this dip.
- Pumpkin – roasted at home or ready bought purée. Be sure to let it cool before blending the dip.
- Greek yogurt – it helps the cheese and pears break down and makes the dip creamy.
- Cream cheese – like the greek yogurt it helps to make the dip creamier whiles making it richer.
- Olive oil – adds to the richness of the flavour and helps with the cooking of the pears.
- Honey – it helps bring out the sugars from the pears and make them caramelise.
- Salt and pepper – taste well before adding any salt and add it gently!

How to make this Sweet Pear and Gorgonzola Dip
Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F). Toss the pear slices with a little olive oil and honey, then spread them out on a baking sheet. Roast for about 15 to 20 minutes, until the pears are golden, tender, and lightly caramelized. Let them cool for a few minutes while you prepare the base. In a food processor, blend together the cream cheese, Greek yogurt, and gorgonzola until the mixture is smooth and creamy. Add most of the roasted pears and save a few pretty slices for topping. Blend again until everything is well combined. Give it a taste and season with a pinch of salt and pepper if needed. Spoon the dip into a serving bowl, then finish it off with a sprinkle of gorgonzola crumbles, toasted walnuts, the reserved pear slices, a drizzle of honey, and a touch of fresh thyme or sage. Serve it up with crostini or crackers and enjoy warm, cozy bites of sweet and savory goodness.
